本校華語文中心(以下簡稱本中心)成立於民國99年10月。華語文中心辦理本校國際生、交換生和華語生之華語文教學、華語補救教學、海外華語學生之華語文教學、華語文師資培訓、舉辦華語文學術交流活動、華語教師成長社群等，協助並輔導對於華語文能力測驗(TOCFL)有興趣的外籍學生實力培養及準備考試。
華語文中心目前有主任一名，並由輔導本校國際生、交換生之國教事務中心協助一同執行相關業務。本中心目前有通過教育部對外華語教學能力認證之兼任教師。配合本校教學卓越計畫自103年起，辦理華語文師資培訓、建置對外華語教學能力認證考試模擬考系統、辦理對外華語教學能力認證考試研習、試教與觀摩會、華語教師面試技巧講座、華語文補救教學課程。也曾於104年辦理僑委會海外華裔青年語文研習班(OCAC)第四期，學員112位來自美、加、英…等18國。
本校華語文中心多年來努力營造優質華語文教學環境，並積極幫助外籍學生華語文的學習與成長。本校配合政府新南向政策，已有許多東南亞的國際產學專班學生就讀，華語文中心全力支援這些學生所需的基礎華語、進階華語課程、華語補救教學、華語文能力的前後測…等工作。

Our Chinese Language Center (referred to as "CLC" below) was established in October, 2000. The Chinese Language Center at this school provides Chinese language instruction for international students, exchange students, and students studying Chinese as a second language. It offers Chinese language courses, remedial Chinese instruction, Chinese language teaching for overseas Chinese students, Chinese language teacher training, organizes academic exchange activities related to the Chinese language, and fosters a community for the professional growth of Chinese language teachers. The center also assists and guides foreign students interested in preparing for the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL).

The Chinese Language Center currently has one director and is assisted by an assistant from the International Affair Office. The center currently has adjunct teachers who have passed the Ministry of Education's Chinese language teaching proficiency certification. In line with the school's Teaching Excellence Project starting from the year 2014, the center conducts Chinese language teacher training, establishes a simulated test system for Chinese language teaching proficiency certification, organizes workshops related to the certification exam, demonstration and observation sessions, Chinese language teacher interview skills workshops, and Chinese language remedial teaching courses. In 2015, the center also organized the 4th session of the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission (OCAC) Language Study Program for Overseas Chinese Youth, with 112 participants from 18 countries including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Over the years, the Chinese Language Center at the school has made great efforts to create a high-quality Chinese language teaching environment and actively help foreign students with their Chinese language learning and growth. In line with the government's New Southbound Policy, the school has many international industry-academia program students from Southeast Asia who are studying, and the Chinese Language Center fully supports their basic Chinese language, advanced Chinese language courses, Chinese language remedial teaching, and pre- and post-assessment of Chinese language proficiency, among other responsibilities.

課程
高苑科技大學華語文中心提供優質華語教學環境，想學習華語和中華文化的人，歡迎到本校華語文中心！入學的方式需先備齊入學申請文件，並於開課日前六個星期寄達。若曾經學過華語，入學前須參加華語分級能力測驗，然後依華語程度分班上課。
本中心除了華語課程，還開設閩南語及客語、簡體字、中國文學、文化等選修課程。教學與教材同時採取國語注音符號及漢語拼音，每週上課最少15小時（含必修及選修）。

Courses
Kao Yuan University Chinese Language Center offers a high-quality environment for learning Chinese and Chinese culture. If you are interested in learning Chinese and Chinese culture, you are welcome to join our Chinese Language Center!
To enroll, you need to prepare all the necessary admission documents and submit them at least six weeks before the course starts. If you have previously learned Chinese, you must take a Chinese proficiency placement test before enrolling, and then you will be placed in the appropriate class based on your Chinese language proficiency.
In addition to Chinese language courses, our center also offers elective courses such as Minnan (Southern Min) and Hakka dialects, Simplified Chinese, Chinese literature, and culture. Both Zhuyin (Taiwanese Phonetic) and Hanyu Pinyin phonetic notations are used in our teaching and materials. Classes are held for a minimum of 15 hours per week, including both required and elective courses.

開課資訊
本中心學制以一季三個月為一期，開課日分別為：
*秋季班: 9月1日~11月30日
*冬季班: 12月1日~2月28日
*春季班: 3月1日~5月31日
*夏季班: 6月1日~8月31日

*若開課日正逢週末，則順延至下個星期一。每期開課日前7天開始註冊，開課日後6天內可加退選。加退選截止之前，皆可辦理註冊。

Our center operates on a quarterly system, with each quarter lasting for three months. The course schedules are as follows:
Fall Term: September 1st to November 30th
Winter Term: December 1st to February 28th
Spring Term: March 1st to May 31st
Summer Term: June 1st to August 31st

If the course start date falls on a weekend, it will be postponed to the following Monday. Registration begins seven days before the start of each term, and course add/drop is allowed within the first six days after the course starts. Registration can be done until the add/drop deadline.
