課程規劃
本中心將華語文課程分為二大方向：
一、華語語言課程：著重華語聽說讀寫四種技能的教學，務使學生精熟華語言，達到以華語口語和書面溝通的目的。
二、中華文化課程：文化與語言是一體之兩面，要了解華語的精髓，不能只學語言而不了解其文化。中華文化博大精深，是五千年來，歷經各族文化融合的完美結晶，其兼容並蓄的文化精神，值得深思與學習。本中心安排一系列中華文化課程，例如：中國歷史、中國童話、書法、國畫、中國各地方戲曲等，即可讓來自不同文化背景的學生，有機會了解中華文化的深與美。

Course Design
This center divides Chinese language courses into two major directions:
Chinese Language Courses: These courses emphasize the teaching of the four language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Chinese. The goal is to make students proficient in the Chinese language, enabling them to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Chinese Culture Courses: Culture and language are two sides of the same coin. To truly understand the essence of the Chinese language, one must not only study the language but also understand its culture. Chinese culture is vast and profound, a perfect fusion of various cultural influences over the past five thousand years. Its inclusive cultural spirit is worthy of deep reflection and learning. This center offers a series of Chinese culture courses, such as Chinese history, Chinese folklore, calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, and regional Chinese operas. These courses provide an opportunity for students from different cultural backgrounds to explore the depth and beauty of Chinese culture.

課程安排
學生入學後即參加華語能力分級測驗，依據成績分班上課。若於六個月內曾參加台灣教育部指定的華語能力分級測驗，請於申請時附上，以利分班作業。
課程依時數分為長期課程與短期課程：
長期課程：以一季為學制，一季上課三個月。
短期課程：以6-8週為單位，華語文學習營的型態招生，讓學生能同時學習華語，及台灣中華文化參訪。
本中心採小班教學，上課人數以6-12人為主，師生比約1:6。每位學生每週上課15小時，得選修2小時文化課程，一季課程約165小時。

Course Arrangement
Upon enrollment, students will participate in a Chinese language proficiency assessment, and class assignments will be based on their test scores. If you have taken the Taiwanese Ministry of Education's designated Chinese language proficiency assessment within the last six months, please include it with your application to facilitate the class assignment process.
The courses are categorized based on the number of hours into long-term and short-term courses:
Long-term courses: These are structured by the quarter, with each quarter lasting three months.
Short-term courses: These are offered in units of 6-8 weeks and follow the format of Chinese language learning camps, allowing students to simultaneously study Chinese and participate in visits related to Taiwanese and Chinese culture.
Our center follows a small-class teaching approach, with class sizes typically ranging from 6 to 12 students, maintaining an approximate student-teacher ratio of 1:6. Each student attends 15 hours of classes per week and has the option to select an additional 2 hours of cultural courses. A single quarter course amounts to approximately 165 hours of instruction.

教材規劃

本中心之授課教材，主要選用正中書局出版之《時代華語》，該書之編撰係因應TOCFL華語測驗之需求，詞彙選擇對應台灣國教院所制訂之「三等七級詞表」。各冊在完成教學後，均可連結對應的TOCFL測驗級別，實施總結性測驗。並有助於學生取得TOCFL華語文能力測驗。

Teaching Materials
Our center's teaching materials primarily utilize the "Times Chinese" series published by the Central Book Company. The development of this book series is in response to the requirements of the TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) Chinese language proficiency test, and the vocabulary selection aligns with the "Three-Level Seven-Grade Vocabulary List" formulated by Taiwan's National Academy for Educational Research.
After completing each textbook, they are linked to the corresponding TOCFL test levels, allowing for the implementation of comprehensive assessments. This approach is beneficial for students in achieving success in the TOCFL Chinese language proficiency test.
